Big delay as the internet gave us the wrong postcode for Askham Bar Park and Ride which we duly put into our car's sat nav. Never mind, got there in the end.
Good facilities shame we had to wait 40 minutes for a bus. Might as well have driven all the way and taken our chances with parking. Another success for public transport if the aim is to put people off using it.
Got on with young kids moron driver barked get on grab a seat...bit difficult with there not being any free.Repeated to the moron adult child single as I didn't realise it was grunting at me was told that's not getting on is it!! No ticket either.Rant over but does the Idiot not realise it's dealing with the public

Plenty of space to park and a regular service into York make this a handy place to stop if you are heading into York having come from South of York. Very easy to find and well signposted. Cheap fares for a return trip. We were waiting for less than ten minutes for a bus having travelled up on a weekday and also still found a parking space easily. Much easier than trying to find a space in the town. Both staff at the park and ride and the bus driver were friendly and helpful.
