I've been to a few Bills restaurants and have always had a good experience. Hopefully we just caught this one on a bad day as we had a poor experience. The restaurant is clean and well presented. The welcoming was friendly but things went downhill from there. We had a wait of one hour for our main courses with no acknowledgment and little apology for the delay. Food standard was way off, undercooked fries, stale bread and meals which could've been hotter. The restaurant did chalk off our drinks after we had complained which was welcomed. Overall not great value. Hopefully just a bad day.
First visit and not disappointed. Ate from the set menu, which was good value, tasty and with vegan options. I'd say you need to like spicy food to eat here. Nothing bland! Staff a bit business-like rather than friendly, hence the 4 stars. Would go again.
A vibrant restaurant with a good menu served by attentive staff. We visited on the 23rd Dec. We we greeted and shown to our table promptly. We had the misfortune of spilling a glass of red wine all over ourselves. Thankfully the staff were very quick to attend and help us. and the wine was replaced without a todo.We had a slight delay for our main course but the food was good and more than made up for the delay All in all a good experience.
Love bills wherever I am in the country!! Food is always awesome. It was incredibly busy and a bit of a wait but you just expect that at Christmas. Staff were friendly and attentive
Good chain restaurant, went for brunch and had cocktails. Staff excellent and helpful. The story about how it ended up being a chain having started as a premise in Lewes, Sussex is worth reading off the walls
