Great place to stop for refreshments if you're walking the wall. Built into the wall itself, it has 3 floors of seating and for those wanting al fresco....
One of those "only in York" experiences. Good coffee. Picturesque view from seating up on the city walls at Walmgate portion. Christmas lighting on the walls at this time of the year simply adds to the beauty of the place.
Lovely walk around york wall. This place is a great stop off for refreshments. If you have the weather I recommend having a drink outside on the outer perimeter looking back at york wall.
Quick friendly service. Great place to do course readings. Wasn't at all busy in the morning. Lovely view from the roof. Coffee is reasonably priced but not the best I've ever had.
A lovely place to have a drink and relax. They have a good selection of hot and cold drinks and cakes too. The prices are very reasonable. The caf is in an old gatehouse on the city walls and it's a really unique and interesting place. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.
