Not actually a bad GP's, it just has something of a reputation due to the phone lines. The interior is clean and spacious, and I've seldom seen it at all full.Unfortunately, the surgery has held onto it's reputation as being a little bit bad. They have some issues with the phone lines, and it did once take me an hour to get put through to someone; it may well be easier to walk to the surgery if you need something.Sign-up can be completed online, and that gives you access to the online services if you send them an email, which is actually quite useful.Not the best GP I've ever been to because of the issues mentioned, but certainly not bad.
This had been going on for months if not a year by now. Plenty Doctors it seems, no appointments. The phone message says go online for an appointment. Online it says ring this number for an appointment.LOL. The surgery waiting area is huge and your lucky if there are three people waiting . My friend has all her results from scan, x-ray and blood test disappeared into thin air. My Husband has gone to another practice . There will be two more doing so.
I've been told I've been removed from their patient list!!! As i moved houses (still in the area) and forgot to change the address with them, they have removed me from their list and the reason is that because i haven't used their service for over 2 years they assume i don't live here no more and cuz they are full and cannot put me back to the list!!! excuse me? is not being sick for long time my fault? i need a proper acceptable excuse....
They were really helpful and have improved so much from before their inspection. The receptionist was very helpful once I got through and they put me in contact with the duty doctor who called me back within 40 minutes. It was a little challenging to get through to reception (hence the 4 stars) as there is no hold system but once I was through they were very helpful.
Have been with the practice about 4 months. Some initial problems with telephones but I believe that has now improved. Staff have been very pleasant and helpful to me despite being under a lot of pressure from disgruntled patients. Give them time and the service will improve. Handy to walk to.
