Immaculate site located just outside york.Good Riverside walk into the city centre.Ideal for visiting places like Thirsk, Northallerton and even Whitby on the east coast.
Just had a 4 night stay at cheery tree csGreat location site is well laid out no hassle Martin and karen very trusting in payment system.Road can be a little bizzy in the morning but does not detracted from the stay here Bus stop close for York Wetherby Whale close by as well as great Co op If you are visting york you will not be disappointed in your stay at Cherry Tree CSAlso this site as a great pull in area so you are off the road.
Lovely little site, very peaceful, just what was needed. So close to York city centre we walked there and back with our dog (took just over an hour). Everything you need there, water, power, recycling bins perfect. Friendly and helpful owner, info on directions local pubs and the village 10 mins away. Will definitely be going back
First time here and loved it. Martin and Karen have built this 15 pitch site up to very high standards. All the pitches are hard standing and level. A well thought out booking in system makes it really easy and lots of info about the local area is available.The bus route into to York is an easy 2-3 mins from the site and at 4.20 return it's cheaper than parking in the city.A very easy 10 minute walk gets you into the village where there is a co - op and the White Horse pub/restaraunt. Lovely place. We didn't eat there but the menu looked good and it's popular do booking is recommended at weekends. you can hear a little bit of road noise but thus drops off at night. We didn't have any problems getting a good night's sleep.Top marks for this well managed camping and caravaning club listed site.
