Excellent site position ten minutes away from York Old Town could do with water at pitch sites and cover needed for chemical toilet disposal area.

I have to say this is one of the best located parks in the country. What better than being just a short walk away from York town centre? York is such a great place to visit... a bit of everything there. It's hard to get booked into this park and there's no chance of getting a weekend and all the slots are booked up at least a year in advance and once you e been you'll see why. It's also very clean and tidy but very compact. We went outside kids holidays and the place was very quiet, although there is a kids park next door so I wouldn't have thought there would be a problem with noise at any time. Just couldn't fault this place at all, will certainly be back.
This site is worth five stars for location alone. It is situated by the river almost within sight of Cliffords Tower and a very short stroll from York city centre. The facilities are well up to those always expected of the Caravan and Motorhome Club and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Excellent short stay location or base for exploring the region.
