Great stay Saturday to Tuesday, site facilities very good and clean, access very good but better signage on the round about would be good. Lovely welcome, helpful staff. Short drive to park and ride with loads of big name shops. Thank you.
Another excellent site and with only a few overhanging trees. the facilities are brand new this year- as are the water/waste stations throughout the site. It's close to York's park and ride which is the best way to get in and out of the city. easily accessed from the A64.
Great very clean site. Showers and toilets first class. Down side a good trek to York centre. Can cost upto14 pounds by taxi.. Long walk along the road to the park and ride no pavements. Good site if you have a car for touring the area.
We were very pleased with our 6 night stay, everything was good about the site, large pitches, well drained but you need hard ground pegs for your awnings!!!! The refurbished facilities block was extremely pleasant. The taxi service into York was great, but due to the one way system in town the return trip was a massive 4 more.The wardens on site were very kind and friendly. We will definitely be going there again as there is so much to see and do !
