Amazingly fast service, fetched the clothing quickly right after we checked in to our hotel (The Grand) and returned the clothing clean and folded. Priceless!!
Adding to the love for the Walmgate Bar Laundrette. We recently spent a little over 3 weeks in Great Britain, and traveled light with the intent of doing laundry every week or so, via "service laundry" so we could get on with our touristy stuff. Walmgate was our second experience, and we were so pleased with the cleaning and the service. As others have noted, they were happy to deliver the cleaned and folded laundry to our hotel - the Parisi, only a few blocks away - and we came back to our room to a nicely folded bag of laundry. The folding had even been separated out in its layers - obviously they figured out which clothes were my husband's and which ones were mine, and the layers were stacked so we could quickly reorganize our clothes. If I could give them even more stars, I would!
Excellent, friendly and timely service!10:15 on a Sunday morning we brought laundry in. We asked that it be washed, dried and delivered to our hotel. He is very friendly and told us of some sights we might like. We spent the day touring York. When we returned to our hotel our laundry had been delivered. It was clean and folded!

Excellent, friendly, helpful service. We walked in, were offered the option to do the wash ourselves or have it done that day by the proprietor AND delivered to our hotel for no extra charge! We arrived back at our hotel room after a lovely day of sightseeing to find our clean, neatly folded clothes waiting. Would highly recommend!
